He worked on an individual or joint venture basis, with a focus on properties and developments in Canada and the United States. In 2005, they launched CBI Group Investments. They offer a wide array of real estate investment products to investors across North America. It ranges from multi-family developments to foreclosed real estate to retail opportunities across Alberta and a land syndication opportunity less than two miles from the largest single-level shopping centre in Alberta.
When Ron and Travis realized the real estate investment opportunities during the US housing crisis, they used their Phoenix Arizona resources to compile the data and research required. Then they put together a team of individuals that could acquire foreclosed properties from the trustee sales. They were able to evaluate each home by neighborhood within Maricopa County by using the proprietary acquisitions system, and they began Arizona Investar.
