What to Expect During Your First Erotic Massage

The mental health benefits of massage are often overlooked, yet there is plenty of evidence pointing to its benefits. It can alleviate anxiety and depression, may improve sleep, promote relaxation while maintaining alertness, and positively impact neurohormones like oxytocin.

Unfortunately, massage is often perceived as a luxury service reserved for the privileged.

To learn more about what’s involved in erotic massage, check out the information below.

What Is Erotic Massage?

An erotic massage is an intimate form of massage that focuses on the erogenous zones of the body. These zones create sexual pleasure and arousal when stimulated. They vary from person to person, but often include:

  • Hairline
  • Inner thigh
  • Buttocks
  • Breasts
  • Neck
  • Ears
  • Lips

Some less common areas may be the shoulders, lower legs, hands, wrists, forearms, hips, and feet. Virtually any part of the body can be an erogenous zone depending on how it makes a person feel.

As indicated above, an erotic massage does not have to include the genitals.

What to Expect

When arriving at an erotic massage, make sure to be there on time. Arriving late will often eat into your booked massage time and waste money.

You can ask whether the massage involves full nudity or not. If you need to undress, the massage therapist can leave the room as you do so. There should be a blanket or towel to cover yourself before you alert the massage therapist that you are ready for the massage.

The massage therapist may use any part of their body to perform the massage. Although they touch you, it’s important to ask before you touch them. This is called “mutual touching” and it is not always an available option.

Types of Massages

There are a few different types of erotic massage, and your choice often depends on your genitals and what is available at the parlor. These types include:

  • Yoni massage
  • Lingam massage
  • Nuru massage
  • Tantric massage
  • Duo massage
  • Prostate massage

For females, a yoni massage focuses on the vagina. For males, a lingam massage focuses on the penis. Both massages involve stimulating those genitals and the areas around them, often (but not always) to orgasm.

A Nuru massage is a type of Japanese massage where the therapist massages the client’s body with their own body. A tantric massage involves massaging the whole body, including the genitals but is not exclusively sexual. A duo massage uses two therapists who perform the massage using four hands.

Finally, a prostate massage is for male clients. The therapist will stimulate the prostate by touching and applying pressure around and inside the anus. These are the common types of erotic massage, but your massage parlor may even have additional options unique to its business.

Booking an Appointment

Booking an appointment for an erotic massage should be simple. The most private and efficient way to do so is to find a massage parlor with a website so you can book online. The venue should be inconspicuous to protect the privacy of customers.
