Get a dog groomer or vet to regularly trim your dog’s nails:

As you can injure your dog if you clip your dog’s nails too close to the base of its nails. In order to avoid injuring your dog, it’s a great idea to get your dog’s nail professionally clipped by a vet or a dog groomer.

Brush your dog’s teeth twice a week:

As Boston Terriers are prone to developing serious dental problems it’s important to brush your dog’s teeth twice a week. Each time that you brush your dog’s teeth make sure to use a soft, baby toothbrush and dog specific toothpaste. If you don’t have a baby toothbrush you can wrap a wash clothe around your finger to brush your dog’s teeth instead.

Play with your Boston Terrier multiple times per day:

As Boston Terriers are a playful, social breed it’s important to play with your Boston Terrier whenever you have a bit of free time. Some activities which your Boston Terrier will love include playing fetch, tug of war and chase. If you leave your home for work each day, it’s a great idea to play for your dog for 5-10 minutes before you leave. So that it’s less likely to feel lonely when you’re gone. Take your Boston Terrier to a local vet several times per year:

As there are certain health conditions which Boston Terriers are prone to developing such as brachycephalic syndrome, which is a respiratory condition, it’s important to visit your local vet, several times per year.
